I often find inspiration when

traveling. I am drawn to capture moments,

a pregnant donkey feeding under a shady canopy, a ferry captain atop deck, beach goers chatting leisurely.  

I love the imagery in folk art when the earthly world meets spirit in a whimsical and 

magical way, The painting Birthday Dream was painted as gift to my daughter, Amanda.

There is a universal tranquility in

the buddha and I often paint 

his likeness from statues. 

This one hangs at my front door.

Living in the Northeast, the four seasons provide endless opportunity with

 changing landscapes and colors.

As a pisces, the ocean is a respite

 for me. In summer I seek out the beach as often as possible, which is my favorite for snapping photos to paint when the temperatures cool.
